Who is FRED?
FREDERIC MICHEL is a professional drummer who was born in 1990 and raised in the Odenwald area in Southern Germany.
He has always been fascinated by drumming, which became a reality at a local music school at the age of 9 years.
Some years later, he met Lui Ludwig (Uwe Ochsenknecht, Jule Neigel Band) who gave him private lessons from there on. In the following years he also received private lessons by Flo Dauner (Die Fantastischen Vier, The Voice of Germany) or Moritz Mueller (Aura Dione, The Intersphere, Gianna Nannini) among many others, his style and technique improved steadily.
Over the years, FRED has played a key role in many of his own bands wich developed into professional directions.

FRED is known for his tasty and groovy drumsound in the studio and on stage aswell as for his extensive knowledge about drum equipment, tuning and micing drums.

Having a miced drumset on hand, ready to be recorded at any time, had always been his dream. In 2016, FRED made his dream come true. Since then, he
is doing recordings for several national and international artists and record labels.
